The Method

The Sabaq · Sabqi · Manzil System

The classical 3-layer memorization method used by Huffaz for centuries — now structured for online learning. This is how we answer the #1 parent worry: "Will my child forget what they memorized?"

📖

1 · Sabaq — New Lesson

Each class, the student memorizes a new portion — typically 5 to 10 lines for kids, more for adults — and recites it to the tutor. Every ayah is checked with Tajweed correction on the spot, so mistakes never get memorized.

  • ✓Target set to the child's memory pace
  • ✓Recited back to the tutor, every class
  • ✓Tajweed fixed before it becomes habit
🔁

2 · Sabqi — Recent Revision

The last 7 days of Sabaq are recited back from memory. This short-term revision loop is what converts "I memorized it yesterday" into "I still know it next month." Tutors score every Sabqi so parents see retention, not just effort.

  • ✓Rolling 7-day revision, every class
  • ✓Retention scores in the parent report
  • ✓Weak spots get extra repetition
🗂️

3 · Manzil — Full Revision

A cycling rotation through all previously memorized Juz — for example one Juz per day. Manzil is the layer most programs skip, and the reason many students forget. We schedule it permanently into every student's plan.

  • ✓Full-Quran rotation, never dropped
  • ✓Manzil Juz tracked in parent reports
  • ✓Monthly retention check-ins
An honest note about guarantees: no academy can guarantee a completion date for Hifz — it depends on the student's age, daily practice and consistency. Any program that promises the whole Quran in one year is selling you something. What we can guarantee: a tutor who listens to every ayah, a revision system that protects what is memorized, and reports that show you the truth, week by week.
Why It Works

Why 1-on-1 Beats Group Classes for Hifz

Memorization is personal. A group teacher with 20 students cannot do what your child's dedicated tutor does.

👂

Every Ayah Is Heard

In a group, students recite in chorus and mistakes hide. In 1-on-1, the tutor listens to every single ayah your child recites — mispronunciations are caught before they become permanent.

🎯

Pace Fits Your Child

Fast memorizers move ahead without waiting; children who need more repetition get it without shame. The Sabaq target is recalibrated constantly — never one-size-fits-all.

🧕

Right Tutor, Right Fit

Choose a male or female certified Hafiz/Hafiza. If the teaching style doesn't click, switch tutors free — usually within 24 hours. Your child's comfort predicts retention better than any credential.

⏰

Fits Real Family Life

Honest Expectations

How Long Does Hifz Take?

Real timelines from real Hifz programs — no inflated promises. Your child's pace depends on age, daily practice and consistency.

Juz Amma (30th Juz) — 3 to 6 months

The most common starting goal for kids. Short surahs build confidence and prove the routine works before committing to full Hifz.

First 5 Juz — 6 to 12 months

Steady Sabaq of 5–10 lines per class with daily Sabqi. This is where the Manzil habit is built — the foundation of long-term retention.

Half Quran (15 Juz) — 1.5 to 3 years

Most students reach the halfway mark in this window on the Regular (3×/week) plan. Intensive students often move faster.

Complete Hifz (30 Juz) — 2 to 5 years

The widely reported range across Hifz programs. Adults with focused daily sessions sometimes complete in 2–3 years; young children typically take 3–5 with strong retention.

Questions

Hifz FAQ

The questions parents ask us most — answered honestly.

Children can begin memorizing short surahs from around age 5 to 7. The commonly recommended sweet spot for a full Hifz program is age 8 to 9, when reading fluency is strong and a daily routine is manageable. Adults can start at any age — many of our students are in their 30s and 40s.
For most students memorizing steadily, full Hifz takes 2 to 5 years. It depends on the student's age, daily practice time, class frequency and consistency. Shorter goals like Juz Amma often take 3 to 6 months for kids.
Our 1-on-1 plans are $40/mo (2 classes/week), $55/mo (3 classes/week) and $70/mo (5 classes/week). All plans include a certified tutor, the revision tracker and parent reports. There is a 10% sibling discount and you can cancel anytime.
Yes — absolutely. Many adults memorize successfully online and often progress well with shorter, focused sessions (for example after Fajr) plus a realistic daily Sabaq target set with their tutor. We also run a Hifz restart program for those returning after a break.
Yes. Certified female tutors (Hafizas) are available for daughters, sisters and ladies on request, at no extra cost. Tell us your preference when booking the free trial and we will match you accordingly.
Your child should read the Quran fluently first. Tajweed is then corrected continuously during Hifz — every Sabaq is recited to the tutor, who fixes pronunciation on the spot. If your child cannot read yet, we start with our Qaida and Nazra course first.
1-on-1 online Hifz is often more effective than group madrasa classes: the tutor listens to every single ayah, corrects mistakes instantly, and personalizes the revision plan to your child's retention. A teacher with 25 students in a room cannot give that level of attention.
Sabaq is the new portion memorized each class. Sabqi is revision of the last 7 days of Sabaq, which locks in short-term memory. Manzil is a permanent rotation through all previously memorized Juz so nothing is ever forgotten. See the Method section above for the full breakdown.
A minimum of 3 classes per week is recommended for steady progress; 4 to 5 per week is ideal for faster completion. We offer 2, 3 and 5-day weekly plans — including weekend-only options for school-going children.
You receive a weekly WhatsApp report (Sabaq completed, Sabqi scores, Manzil Juz covered) plus a monthly summary call with the tutor. You also get our free revision tracker to follow along at home, and you may sit in on any class.
Yes — tutor switching is free at any time. If the teaching style does not fit your child, message us on WhatsApp and we will rematch you, usually within 24 hours.
Yes. Three full 1-on-1 classes with a certified Hifz tutor, no credit card required and no obligation. If you do not love it, you simply do not continue.
